But then we all sang Sing Me to Heaven, and a lot of us could barely hold ourselves together. I'm surprised I could sing throughout the whole song. I ended up bawling my eyes out. I was so embarrassed when I left the restaurant because my whole face was so red and puffy (I am not a pretty crier.) We all got to cry together though.
Gosh, this choir is like my family. I mean, I live so far away from home that the choir and my fellow Juniors have become my only sense of family around here. And now the Seniors are graduating. It's sad. It almost feels like they're about to die and we'll never see them again. That's kind of how it is every time somebody withdraws or gets expelled or doesn't get invited back. That's how personal our whole school is (because we're such a small school.) I can't imagine how emotional graduation is going to be.... I love them all so much.
