Speaking of Wimbledon...

Maria Sharapova got beat yesterday by Gisela Dulko 2-6, 6-3, 4-6.

Guess we won't be seeing anymore of her Sgt. Peppers couture.
Jusqu'à ce que nous nous réunissions encore.

Wimbledon '09

Welcome to Wimbledon 2009!  These are the latest fashions of The Mighty Fed and Maria Sharapova!
...

Is it just me, or does it look like Nike is going for the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club look?

Especially for Maria Sharapova.

Now I love Wimbledon.  It is by far my favorite Grand Slam of the year.  It's the only Grand Slam that offers day-of tickets, for those of you that are willing to stand in line for at least 3 hours.  And they also have a re-sale booth, where people can turn in the Centre Court, Court 1 and 2 tickets to be resold for 5 pounds!  Wimbledon has the best tennis fans, and they do a lot to accommodate them.  It is the most traditional tournament.  The players are allowed to wear only white for the matches.  Hence, many players try to spice their outfits up.

This Sgt. Pepper's look is okay, if that's what they were going for.  The Mighty Fed looks more like...I don't know.  Like he's in the military maybe?  Their outfits are quite comical to me, and I enjoy them.

Zee Wishing Tree

I've gotten the opportunity to do a musical theater workshop kind of thing at the Orpheum in Memphis, July 6th through the 10th, with a ticket to see Wicked on the 11th.  I really hope I get accepted.  How cool would that be?  I get to be backstage and I think I get to meet the cast and everything.  There are master classes.  :)  How exciting!!
"Unlimited.
My future is unlimited."
I think those are two of my favorite lyrics in the whole show.
I just read A Little Bit Wicked by Kristin Chenoweth.  It was so good.  It's one of those books that you can't put down.  I finished it in 2 and a half days.  It was so inspiring too, especially if you want to be on Broadway or be a successful opera singer, or a performer in general.  I have a lot of respect for her.  She's done a lot of work to get where she is today.
That -------------------------------------------------------------^
is the wish tree.  I wish that I become SOMEBODY.

I started work today.  I'm only working this month (I'm not really sure why I'm not working all summer, but it's perfectly fine with me!)  Apparently I'm really good at answering phones, because out of the only two jobs I've ever had, answering phones has been part of the job description.  Hey, easy money.  Next summer I'll be 18, so I can audition for professional shows and get paid.  AND start my professional resume.  But in the meantime, while I'm still not legal yet, this will have to do.  Hey, we've all got to start somewhere.  Maybe I'll blog tomorrow; let you guys know how work is going. Haha.

But since I do have work in the morning, and it is almost 1:30 a.m, it is time for my body to reunite with my bed and temporarily become unconscious.  Until then.........i love you.

Bye.
